New Leather Steering Wheels on Ebay for good price...

If anyone is interested, Ebay has brand new Steering Wheels with leather for sale. Original price of $500-600...you can get one for under $229.

I received mine yesterday and it's just as advertised.

Here is mine. And when they say "leather", it's not soft supple leather that I had in my Jeep Trailhawk or Audis. It is a plastic type leather, but is still better than the stock wheel. It's a direct swap and I added the phone buttons on the side. Also an easy add with just purchasing the ribbon and the buttons. I'd have to look for the part numbers or the post I got the info from as I don't have that on hand. Also, don't mind the crooked wheel. This was after a wheeling trip.

I haven't installed it yet. I'll take a quick pic and upload it. My current steering wheel has no texture left except gouges and it's shiny and slick. I wanted to recover it but figured why not, swap seems easy.

This is significantly better, Bought it for 60, took about 4 hours to stitch myself but the results are amazing!

That looks really nice, I already have the buttons on my wheel so it would be pretty straight forward.

Based on my research, yes. The difference is the dimpled leather as opposed to no dimples and will accommodate telescoping. 04 doesn't telescope. Doubt it makes a difderence and part number is virtually identical. I'll report back after installing.

That alignment would drive me insane! Prob be easiest to pull the wheel and straighten it up?

Nope. It was an alignment thing after coming down Lippincott Pass in Death Valley. Lifetime Alignments FTW at Wheel Works/Firestone!

Finally installed the steering wheel, couldn't be easier. No comparison. Super easy install. Took me 30 minutes tops. Cheers!

So I bought this wheel after seeing Yeti-X's on his 4Runner.

My initial experience hasn't been awesome. The wheel is out of round, and scrapes the left side of the plastic on the steering column as you turn it.

I haven't left feedback yet, and contacted the seller, they said they'll send a replacement. I will see how that goes.

Hoping it's just a one time problem.

If not, I'll be searching for a leathersmith to re-wrap my original wheel.

Got the new wheel today, layup comparison to my old wheel shows this one is round.

Will be installing soon.
