My stock wheels were trashed from the salt here in chicagoland... corroding and chipping so I sanded the stuff that was flaking off and hit them with some plastidip.

just needs black front and rear off road bumpers to match...

Could I bother you to get some close-ups on your wheels. I was considering doing the same thing for similar reasons but was curious as to what the finish would look like.

yea i will try to snap some pix tomorrow..... the finish is nice and smooth... most people cant tell its not paint.
i used a wire brush to get all the flaking corrosion off... coulda talken more time on it to get a better finished but just didnt want the flaking stuff come off after i did the plastidip.

Very! This isnt the first time I have done the plastidip on wheels so I knew what to expect going in.... it should last a year or so then need to be redone or painted. I actually hope to get new wheels at some point

they came out really well... I wish i had a close up of how corroded they were before.
