Thanks. Sounds like it’s not unusual. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have something strange going on. It works great after about 2-3 minutes.

Now I need to decide when I want to reflash the maestro dad gummit! I should have added more customization.

The new Maestro unit has Bluetooth capability for changing settings. I'll probably swap to it.

It has BT but not an app for it yet. New module will also have 3 programmable outputs that you can bring up on the radio screen on select radios and trigger them by steering wheel control.

I will be upgrading to the Maestro RR2 module soon. I have the new module and an Escort Max 360c portable radar detector but I'm waiting on a special cable to go from the radar to Maestro module.

1. Mine does this 1 -2 times within 15 seconds of connecting. OK after that.
2. I have iPhone 11 and no issues. Can turn WiFi off on phone and connect it using USB to see how it goes.

I turned off the wifi and bluetooth. Carplay works perfectly through the factory USB. Have not tried with Waze etc but music play, responding to texts, Siri etc is flawless.

I wish I had done this a year ago.

Just got in all the IData stuff for my '20 with all the adapters. Holy shit. I am not looking forward to this project. As mentioned, a crap ton of wires and shit for instructions. Wish me luck.

Anyone not using the OBD2 connector that comes with the TO2 wire harness kit? I'm looking to buy one. It doesn't seem to be available separately from Maestro.
