Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself.
3 days ago, I purchased a 2014 SR5 Premium 4x4 in Magnetic Gray, Black leather interior. Included options are Running Boards, Carpet Floor Mats and the 3rd row seat.
I got it for invoice price, which, at the time of this writing, is apparently quite hard to achieve. I showed the ad to my local dealer to see if he would match it, as I prefer to keep my business local. The sales manager said there was no way he could sell it for that low and that I should go buy it from the other dealer. So I did. I didn't mind driving 190 miles to get such a good deal.
Invoice price - $36,988
Tax (7.5%) - $2774
DMV - approx $400
TOTAL - $40,162
I thought I did pretty well. The MSRP on the vehicle was $40,130. I only paid $32 more than that, out-the-door.
Looking forward to learning more about my new truck and being a part of the T4R community. I spent the last 10+ years as a member on Customtacos(dot)com. Maybe I'll see some familiar people around here. :thanks:
