New member from Knoxville, TN 2008 SR5 V8 4WD

Hey everyone,

I've been wanting a 4th gen 4Runner V8 ever since they debuted and I finally picked up a very clean example about a week and a half ago. She is very clean and has 167k on the clock. 4Runners in this area do very well in the resale department, so I was ecstatic to bag this one for 11k from a lady on craigslist. The timing and water pump need to be done, but I already have the parts to do it. So, far I'm loving it and look forward to continued lurking here on the board.

I got my 2004 V6 for $9,000 up here in DE with 159K on it, very happy with it & it's in great shape. Hope yours is in great condition too for that price! Enjoy it, I love mine!

nice, super clean man! i'm new here too, from TN and just got my 2nd gen - 4runner, 3 days ago (around chattanooga).
got mine for a steal with 180k miles. can't wait to start mod'ing and kickstarting my 4runner lifestyle.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As you may have noticed, my 4R didn't come with a roof rack, so I'm looking forward to welding up one, soon! I'll be sure to post pictures when I get around to it.

A little more background one me, I used to be a moderator over at supramania many years ago when I had an 89 Supra Turbo, so I look forward to contributing here.
