Hey, I just recently purchased a 1996 Toyota 4runner. I have crossed over the lines of Toyota vs. Jeep, and I have to say that I do like the 4runner more than my old Jeep Wrangler. I have always enjoyed modifying vehicles and I like how the 4runner presents a harder challenge to modify than the Jeep.
I am wanting to make my 4runner a better off-road vehicle than when I purchased it. Except I don't have the money flow because I am currently a college student, but I will be trying to do small mods to the interior to make it more comfortable.
I will be eager to learn new ways to fix things, ways to do modifications and all in all furthering my mechanical experience.
