The vehicle was a one owner with 123,000 miles, dealer maintained with records to back it up. Forums are a great way to learn about the unknown when it comes to vehicles i'm unfamilar with. First task is to tackle replaceing non working lights in the hvac controls, cup holders and shifter. Being a heavy truck diesel technician and having already used the search function, it doesn't look like too tough of a job.
