Hi- My name is Terry and I like long walks on the beach and sunsets...oh,sorry...wrong group.
I'm a new member from Colorado. I've been looking on and off for years for a low mileage, '99 or '00 Sport/Highlander with a 5 speed and sunroof but in Colorado, apparently that doesn't exist. I recently found a SR5, low mileage, with the 5 speed (no sunroof though) so I snapped it up. I was lucky to be the first person to look at it and the owner told me that he had been overwhelmed with buyer inquiries but I was the first to call. In Colorado, they also sell for $10K-$13K if they are at 100K miles or less. Mine is pretty mint and owned by a senior couple that are CPA's and this was the wife's "run around" vehicle. Never towed or been off-road....ever. Every service record, including window sticker, since purchased brand new at Boulder Toyota. No expense spared to keep it maintained at the dealer. There are 2 things that I think it needs: A new front bumper w/valance as it has a small dent on it that isnt all that noticeable but it will drive me nuts. It also has the original shocks so I want to upgrade. Other than that, it's good to go. I'll post some pics once the weather warms up and I can wash the snow off. Thanks for this great forum!
