Certainly no new to Toyotas but new to 4Runners and this forum. I have already found some great info on here and look forward to learning some more.

I started with this:

But found it a bit impractical, though fantastic off road, so I sold it.

I then bought this:

But, although it was a diesel, it just did not fit my needs. And it was destined for major issues.

So, last week, I traded it for this:

2006 4Runner SR5 with the 4.7 V8. 45,000 miles. No big plans for this one...For now. I changed the oil with Mobil 1, installed some Weaterhtechs up front and worked on the few scratches and chips on it. Oh, I guess I did one mod. Debadged.

Love it so far, the V8 is awesome. I can almost watch the gas gauge drop under acceleration. I am looking for some new wheels. Aftermarket or maybe the Sport or Limited styles.

Thanks! The Tacoma was a blast to build and wheel. They are Helo 842's with 285/75/16 Treadwright Wardens.

The 'Runner is a 4x4. No sense in have 2wd in an area that gets snow or has decent trails around.
