New Member in central MS

I have researched here a few times but now it's time to get serious. We have a '98 that my oldest son drives every day. This past weekend he lost the driver's side lower ball joint - thankfully it was at parkling lot speed and not highway speed. I'm now on the look for a limited fender with flare (silver already would be great), a factory running board, and an axle shaft for the drivers side.

May just break down and put a winch bumper and sliders on it if I don't get lucky with the oem parts.

That is what sparked my immediate interest in joining but after reading several threads today the atmosphere here is much more friendly than some of the other places I am a member of.

I also have a '96 Tacoma, a '93 x-cab, and an '80 model Chevy that are all in various levels of repair. I have three sons that are pretty good at keeping them that way!

Welcome. That sucks about the ball joint, seems to be a few more than usual of those lately. Glad your kid is OK though!

Got lucky and found a silver fender with a silver Limited Flare on it already today for $125 ... and it's local. Sounds too good to be true because my luck doesn't usually run like this.


First attempt at posting pics here - don't know why they are so big and sideways? Need to do a little more research I guess. Sorry guys
