First post here, looking for advice. I've been a die hard Ford man my entire life and I've owned about 7 F150s, 2 Thunderbirds, a five hundred, crown Vic, Mustang, Explorer, Focus, and even an old Ford lawn tractor. About three years ago, my wife convinced me that she needed a minivan and we ended with a 2013 Toyota Sienna. It has been a great vehicle and it got me looking at Toyotas for myself as well. I recently test drove a 2011 T4R($20k) and a 2013 T4R(25k). Both seemed a little overpriced to me, so I didn't buy them, but either is still a possibility. I have also talked to someone about a 2007 T4R with a V8 that just recently had the timing belt, water pump, and exhaust manifold replaced ($12k with 120,000 miles). I'm mostly just looking for advice here. Is there anything in particular that I should look out for? V8 vs V6 thoughts? Common rust areas that i need to look at? Anyone have any leads on a good deals in the northern Ohio area? I'm hoping to stay under $20k, but that's my only real requirement at this point.
