Hey guys. I will be out of town today-saturday, then heading up to the San Juans the following week/weekend. I'm not sure my stocker could keep up on anything too crazy anyway (especially with pretty shot brakes), but I will look forward to getting out there soon!

BigFishAllDay: none of that stuff is mine, but did I see a bumper with a blueish/silver coating on there that looked familiar! During summer I am usually pretty free weekdays also, but students return mid August (Teacher) so I'll be relegated to a weekend warrior again soon ugh! Sounds llike there is a pretty good crew of NM guys in here (30 yr. resident myself), and I can't wait to hook up and do some wheelin...

BTW, if you explore those websites a little more, there is a TON of info on NM trails that you can explore, especially on the first link. The second link has excellent info on the Puerco, but the rest of the site has been "under maintenance" for years.

BigFish I usually have Thursday and Friday off so I'm always down for that as well.

OFFICIAL Rio Puerco meet this Sunday. Meet at the end of southern in Rio rancho at the dunes at or before 9 am.
We are merging tacomaworld and t4r for the day.

To get there, get on southern Blvd heading west from NM 528 (aka rio rancho blvd), go west on southern until it goes to Dirt (its a long way before it does that) then keep going on the dirt road until you reach the big sand dunes and find the group waiting there. Look for modded tacomas and 4runners.. duh.

Stock rigs are welcome, there are bypasses for the harder stuff.

Right on man. I'll keep that in mind. We should do a Puerco run someday. I won't take my truck out there solo because if something happens and you have to leave your rig behind, you just might come back to a stripped, burnt pile of scrap (lots of scumbags out there).

It's the girls birthday today and she's dragging me downtown tonight so theres a good chance i won't be in any shape to drive at 9am.

Plane leaves for NM tomorrow, be there for 9 days, rental car is a midsized suv, anything I've GOT to see or do?, only a few things planned so far

Ya change your plane ticket and go somewhere that isn't God awful.

All jokes aside there really aren’t too many noteworthy things to do. I'd say hit up the tram which starts at the base of the Sandia Mountains and brings you 2.7 miles up the side of the mountain. It's pretty awesome. Uptown is a great place to go hang out and relax. Some great dinning up there. It's off of Louisiana and I-40. If you're a fan of Breaking Bad you can go on their website and it has directions to all of the places on the show. Pretty cool there as well. Otherwise you're in for a LONG 9 days.

**Sorry I didn't make it to the run guys. I didn't see my bed until 5 this morning. Darn women.

Were doing the vacation to kinda survey for a move in the intermediate future. Kinda stoker to go to white sands, she doesn't seem to stoked to go to Roswell, but I'm gonna try. Week and a half off work, hells ya

If you're down in the Roswell area I HIGHLY suggest to drive a bit more South to Carlsbad caverns. These caves will blow your mind and it is truly a sight to see.
