Great photo right there! The Runner looks great.

Kind of off topic: Does anyone know of any good jobs in the Albuquerque area? I hate my job incredibly bad and need a change soon. Any ideas?
 
Anyone that wants to go, we'll be at the dunes at 9.

End of southern blvd in rio, just keep going till it goes to dirt. At the dunes look for us.

I thought I woukd let you guys know of an upcoming TacomaWorld meet. As you can see, we have a big awesome group. The cap is 25 so get on the list if you want to go!
 
What time is the run? I've got a child birthing class @ 9:30am w/the Wife that I can't miss, but after that I've got all day free. I think the class is 4 hours.
 
Oh yeah the time. We usually meet at 9-10 am. this run is gonna take a long time though, I bet we'll be out there for 5 or more hours, easy.


I'll get back to you when I know a for sure time. BTW that guy you bought the axle from is gonna be there, that red long travel tacoma.. his name is david.


I wouldn't want to pull you from that class though, thats important stuff you will never forget doing just for part of the experience of having a kid. Speaking of which, how are your girls doing?
 
I'll keep tabs on this thread and see what you come up with. David's a cool guy, it would be interesting to see his Tacoma in action.

Rene is doing great. She's starting to get that "about to pop" look about her, but she's handling everything really well. Baby is growing and happy, and ACTIVE as ever. You can feel her moving around in there all day long. She reacts when you talk to her, and if we push back when she pushes from the inside she'll react to that too. I can wake her up when she's sleeping, or calm her down with warm hands. All that and she's still in the womb.

It's pretty amazing.
 
Sounds good, here is the TW thread if you want to watch that too. You should sign up there when you get a chance, They would love to meet you and check out your trucks! That thread alone is almost as active than the entire 3rd gen subforum here.

That is so awesome! She is getting pretty close then, huh? When is the due date? I want to get you guys a baby shower gift or something.
 
I've been meaning to register over there for awhile now. I figured if you can be on there w/a 4Runner, then I can too.

Is that slodghetto guy the one who does your welding? I dug through his build thread over there one time and that guy has got some skills.

The due date is 10/14, but it'll probably come a week or so later.

Slodgetto is the reason I had my driveshaft catastrophe, trying to follow that crazy bas****.

Steve o 77 is the guy who does my welding, we've been friends since elementary school. Hes currently the team leader of the Baja race car program at new mexico tech.

Whitecloud is basically the NM leader, hes a fabricator by night and is working on starting to build and sell sliders and bumpers.

Ghost is an annoying MOFO that never shuts up, but we love him, lol.

For now I have the stock ones Dirtco sent me.

Steven found some scrap DOM from the baja garage and built me new ones in return for my snapped shocks. He's gonna fix them and use them on his jet ski trailer that he handbuilt.

I got new poly bushings from energy suspension. As soon as he comes to town i will be able to put them in. Which will probably be the day of the meet, lol.

That is cool about your baby. At least you still have some time to prepare!
