Cookie Meet

When: Sun 24th, 2pm

Where: Rio puerco!

Directions: Its at the end of Southern in Rio Rancho, Its way out there! stay on southern it will go to unmarked pavement then to dirt. Just keep going til' you reach the sand dunes and look for a bunch of toyotas. The dunes are around 15-20 minutes from Rio Rancho Blvd (hwy 528).

Who: add your user name, preferred day, and favorite cookie!
1. Loudpedal of course. ALL OF THE DAYS AND ALL OF THE COOKIES!!!11!!ONE!!
2. Tom-nom-nom (either day, Tagalongs)
3. Slodgetto (Sunday... THINMINTS ALL DAY, TOADTARDS!)
4. Ripcord (Sunday, diabetus cookies)
5. Sgt Taco (Sunday)
6. Pigger (either day, SAMOAS FTW!!!!!!)

I've got this coming weekend off work, but I was reminded by my Wife that we have been planning a ski trip for this weekend (Baby is going with Grandma & Grandpa), so it's not looking like I'll be able to make it this time around unless my Wife decides she only wants to ski on Saturday.

If it looks like I can make it at the last minute I'll give you a call, Jim.

BTW, I went up to the Jemez on Sunday to check out Paliza Canyon.... it was a bust, the road was closed for the winter. :doh:

That sucks about paliza though, did you explore anything else instead while you were up there?

No, we got a late start out of ABQ so after we got turned around at the gate on Paliza Canyon Rd. we just went back down to the river, ate lunch, and hung out. We checked out Perea Nature Trail, which is right off 550 just before you hit San Ysidro going west, to walk to the dogs. That was a cool little hike.

I was bummed Paliza was closed because that would have been the Baby's first off road trip.

No, we got a late start out of ABQ so after we got turned around at the gate on Paliza Canyon Rd. we just went back down to the river, ate lunch, and hung out. here is the updated list, Micah from the garage in corrales is for sure going. I went by today and we talked 4runner for a while. Turns out he retrofitted an elocker not too long ago also.

Wish I could go, it would be nice to hang with all you ABQ guys again! My truck is still broken, but hopefully I'll have the lift on soon... we are also planing a big meet in LC for next mo or so. So hopefully a few of you guys can come down for that as well.

Jim, do yall ever do any rides on Saturday? I could talk my wife into a weekend in ABQ if we hit the trails on saturday and then did something more her speed(shopping) on Sunday. I wont make this Sunday's run but hopefully soon we can get up that way.

Rarely, most of the guys are free sundays and not saturdays.

I used to have saturdays off and work sundays and missed all the meets til I changed up my work schedule.
