Glad you got some time on the snow. We hit Taos on Sat, and Sipapu today. Great conditions both days. I wish I could have made the Puerco meet too, but we've got to get our skiing time in when we can... priorities, right?

Oh I totally understand, there's a big difference between hobbies and passions!

Ive only hit both of those places once this season so far. Toas was exposed pretty bad when I did. Im jelly you got her on a good day, she is unbelievable at times..

You definitely missed a good day at puerco. Nobody broke anything. I finally conquered both obstacles that I had my driveshaft failure and my front diff failure on.. felt so liberating haha.

It happened on that trail we took just after we watched Silas do the waterfall. There was a rock you are supposed to go around the left and barely drop off, but he went strait off it and slammed down on the running board. Saw the whole thing in my rear view mirror haha

From the pics it looks like you guys had a good time. How did you get the photo of your rig w/the P/S rear up on that rock? Did you back up onto the ledge?

I got some pics of a nice 4th gen I saw in the parking lot @ Taos. Do any of you guys know the owner? It was a sweet rig.

(I edited out the plate so I'm not violating the owner's privacy here, but it had NM plates w/the Balloon design)

Anything going on this sunday in ABQ? We are coming up for the weekend to catch the last UNM regular season home game Saturday and staying the night up in Corrales. Anyone down to hit a trail or two?

Not that Im aware of, Pretty sure I work sunday thats all I know. Ill check my schedule and if I have the morning free we should go on a quick trail run. Get our thundercloud girls to know each other.

You have family in corrales? I cant think of any hotels even remotely close by haha.

An earlier ride sounds good to me! Would love to check out your rig. No family out here, Kelley and I are both from the east coast, but we do have some good friends that live in Corrales that we will be staying with.

Nate, Jim, I'm off this weekend so I'm interested as well. I'm not 100% sure we'll be in town though, because Rene has caught the skiing bug again, and we may be headed back out for another weekend on the snow.

If I'm in town though, I'm game. I should have ONE of my 4Runners on the road this weekend. The '97 is all torn apart right now for a front LCA replacement, and to lift the front end a little more. After I get it put back together, the '01 is going under the knife for the Valve Body.
