IMO, a NM based T4R.org decal seems to imply some sort of club affiliation... a group of people that get out and wheel together... which we most definitely do NOT have going here.
This state has always had some of the most highly/better built Toyotas on the forums, yet there has never been a cohesive group of us that get out and go 'wheeling together.
Let's do some trips before we get a big boner about stickers. :cheer2:
I'd like a vinyl decal that somehow depicts my considerable disgust for the terrible (majority of) drivers in ABQ.
This state has always had some of the most highly/better built Toyotas on the forums, yet there has never been a cohesive group of us that get out and go 'wheeling together.

The ABQ Tacoma crew is very active and we have a local decal. It had stipulations also. Such as attending an off roading meet.
It was simple
There is a crazy funny story on how this decal was born. But it is definitely not something handed out to everyone

Lifting in ABQ
Hello I am new to this thread and to the t4r forums.
I had some questions about lifts specifically in ABQ.
1. where is the best place to get the most bang for your buck.
2. installation?
I am looking for the most cost effective way to lift my 03 v8 Limited since I am just a poor college student attending Montana State Univ. Cant wait to be back in ABQ for the summer though!

Welcome to T4R!!
Not much as far as lift kits for sale in town. All of us have ordered the coils and shocks online and either installed them on their own or had help from members here.
ToyTech has a lot of the things you will need.
Toytec Lifts - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits
Don't go cheap ie.. Spacers etc.., Save your money until you can get good equipment then you won't have any regrets or end up redoing the lift.
what what all my research has been saying, there are differences in between the brands of shocks and coils. so my next question would be what brand is the best for new mexico style offroading. I dont want my runner to be a rock crawler, I would like it to be well versed. also what would you guys recommend for lift height

Hey guys I am moving out to Abq in July and plan to do some wheeling. Looks like I also should plan to join the tacoma forum too... Anyway, I hope to see some of you around. I actually bought my T4R while I was in Abq for training at Kirtland back in 2011. I still have my New Mexico plates so I should fit right in! I spent the last 3 years in NW Florida and my truck has been way to exclusive to pavement. Fortunately for me I am moving back to Abq and I just ordered a new suspension, bigger tires and some sliders. Can't wait to get out there!

Nice runners! Really want to get a rack and led bar for my 4th gen, but it'll have to wait for now.
