Thanks for the advice! I think I might give them a call and see what they quote me on a install. Idk...I really want to to try and get it done myself to learn how to do it, but we'll see. haha sounds good I'll keep ya posted. I will keep you guys posted on what I decide to do. Ordered from Total Automotive Performance and they said it might not be here till around Christmas time.

I put on the icon stage 2 a few months ago now. I really like it! Did you get the track bar also? Do you have KDSS?

No I didn't. I do not have the KDSS though. Did you do the install yourself or take it somewhere? Is there anything else that I'll need? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I do it right the first time.

A coworker of mine has a lift in his garage so we did it there. The only hard parts for me involved the kdss bar so I don't think it'll be too hard for you. I am not very mechanically inclined myself, but had people with me who were. Sorry I can't be more help. When I used to have my jeep, I had desert rat put a lift on, they did fine. Did you get UCA's?

I finally got some seals repaired so I was looking maybe get on some trails for a few hours tomorrow. Anybody interested? I was looking to just hang around the Cedro Peak area or going through Rio Puerco.

hey guys need some advice.

2015 sr5 premium
just wanted to say hi from Albuquerque and ask for some advice
my 15 4runner has been leaking oil since I bought it and the dealership just told me that it was coming from the cylinder head. I guess they were not poured right from the factory and this is the 4th one that they found. what should I do? don't feel comfortable driving with the engine rebuilt but don't have more money to buy another. any advice?

Yeah, I got the Icon tubular UCAs. I have a couple of friends that can help me out. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Depending on when you want to install the lift, I may be able to go by and give a hand as well.

If not, I'm pretty good at sampling beer and pizza. :pizza::beer:

Everything is pretty straight forward. Just remember to grease everything you're supposed to grease. Besides the kdss bar, I think the hardest part was getting one of the top nuts on the rear driver side shock on. It will look a lot higher than you probably thought it would look when you first finish. It does settle a bit in the first couple of weeks. Good luck man. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for all the advice. I definitely will take some before and after shots to post up on here.

Hey does anyone have a SWR Meter? I recently got around with installing an Firestik antenna for my CB and have read everywhere it's important to tune it. I know Radioshack sells them for $20 but figured I would ask the forum first.

Right on, there are a few built Toyotas in the Alamogordo area. Next time you are over this way or feel like making the drive to hit some trails let me know, I'd be happy to head out with you.

Nathan

Speaking of Alamo, I'll be there this weekend for some predator hunting!
