Nice! I haven't been to the Butte in years, how's the water level?
I was a chevy guy years ago (flame suit on) but watching my buddy in his Tacoma cruise effortlessly on the sand really changed my thinking as my heavy supercharged chevy just continued to sink.

Haven't been to Butte but 2 times so I can't compare or give you a true estimate on water level.

Does anyone out there have any need for a pair of original factory rear shocks off a 2015 SR5? They only have about 10,000 miles on them so they're pretty much new. I just upgraded to Bilsteins, and hate to throw the perfectly good originals in the trash. If you want them, come and get 'em!

Any chance any of you fine folks have a V8 4th gen I could test drive!? They are very rare in ABQ and I would like to drive one before going out of state to shop for one.
My Taco was stolen last week and I am heavily considering a V8 4th gen as a replacement!

In case you're still looking at V8s, you can drive mine. My GF has a '08 Limited which is more peppy than my V8 but with a little less torque.

On another note, if anyone has a 5th gen and is available on Sunday to let me test some roof mounts I would be very very very appreciative of the help! I will also give you a freee set of mounts for your time and a very good discount on the matching LED. I have a new design I made for 4th gens that I am 95% sure will fit a 5th gen, just wanted to make sure. Will be a quick test and you get free stuff!

4th gen Tcase actuator leak
Hey guys, about 3 months ago I purchased a 2003 GX470 after selling my 3rd 4runner. In the last week or so I have notices a small drip leak coming from the Transfer case actuator. I have researched the repair and am tempted to try it my self but I run the risk of F'ing up the actuator with the "twist and pull" method. My question is if any of you have had the actuator leak repaired locally by a shop who is familiar with the repair. I haven't check with the dealership yet but I'm sure they will want to follow the TSB and remove/split the Tcase which will be outrageous in price. Thanks for any info!!

Hello everyone, my name is Jim. My wife has take a job in ABQ so we will be moving there at the first of the year. I wanted to see what the ABQ 4Runners were like? Do you guys get together and go wheeling? I have a '02 SR5 4WD completely stock except for 265/75-16 that need to be replaced.

Hey Jim,
Good luck with the move to ABQ, you'll really like it here. Lots of wheeling and pretty much all year around. I think most of us go wheeling with our friends and such and so I haven't hooked up with any other 4runner wheelers but there are lots of modified 4Runners and Taco in ABQ so you'll get your fill quickly!

Man, long time no see. I thought you traded in the 4runner or fell off the face of the earth or something. The NM section has been dead for a while now.
Abq area wheeling
I've been wheeling with the local Landcruiser club and the snow wheeling is a blast. I think we manage to get out at least once or twice monthly during the winter months. The kids and dogs love the snow play and we generally have a real good time. My Runner is not quite ready for snow wheeling yet but it's getting there so the 80 has been having all the fun.
This club has few 4Runners, few FJCs, couple of GX470s and of course bunch of 40s, 60s, 80s, 100s, and mini trucks. If this interest you, go here, create a new thread and introduce yourselves. The monthly breakfast get together is going to be this coming Saturday and there is a sticky thread and details of the time/location/etc.
I usually post up when I go on wheeling/camping trips and this state has a lot to offer in that regard. It's an open invite for like minded folks who likes to play outdoors.
