It was extremely steep. We couldn't walk up it. It was in Jemez Springs. We had a cabin and that is the road it took to get up the mountain to the cabin. I freaked when we got there because it was raining and I didn't have much mountain experience. I didn't know if we would slide back down or not.

That's my kind of road. :D

great shots, beautiful country....I love New Mexico, and am looking forward to getting there again, soon...maybe stop for a cool one to escape the dust in Madrid, or Cerrillos, or let it run full-throttle in the valleys around Lake Valley!

thanks for the pics and great looking 4R!!

do you know the Taos area? Moving up there in a month or so. I just got a '10 SR5 last week and hoping to have a suspension/wheel setup before i go. Any suggestions as to a nice part of town to live in, apt, condo, loft?

thanks.

Hoping to get a 4runner soon! I'm from Belen and love going to the Jemez and the mountains. I love to go off roading, but never owned a 4wd. Soon enough I will be taking trips to mountains or out to the puerco to go shooting. :50cal:
