New ORP to the Forum

Hey all,

I'm not brand new to the forum but I just got a new 2022 ORP in Lunar Rock and I wanted to share a couple photos of it. Really happy with it and while it took awhile for it to come in it was worth the wait. I love the color and that it was minimally optioned (eg. no moonroof). Already pondering some minor mods and enjoying all the tech which is funny considering most people think the 4runner is a dinosaur.

The truck looks GREAT! Man that’s a phenomenal color. Congrats and let’s get them on the trail together some day!
 
Just curious, how long is "a while" to be waiting? I'm waiting on the exact car, but with a sunroof, and I'm over 4 months now.

Congrats, what will be your first mod?

I just got my ‘22 ORP this past week too. It dropped into my lap at the dealership. Was putting in a order for Tacoma since there was one coming to them to be delivered next week. While getting the paperwork together the salesperson said he overheard someone backed out of a ‘22 ORD and asked if I wanted it. Truth be told, I was looking for ‘22 4Runner prior to me going to the dealership but there were none available in my area to buy. I instantly said yes and started the paperwork immediately. While we were signing the papers there were 3 people wanting to by the same vehicle…..so I got lucky. (No dealership markup) Placed an order and deposit for ‘22 Lexus NX 350H Lux last month and still waiting for a delivery date so the car shortage is for real.

I think my first mod will be the flat black TRD rims and TRD skid plate. Still debating what tires I will be getting, the Nitto or Wildpeaks.

Awesome! I got mine for MRSP as well. My first mod was removing the dealer sticker...ha. I'm also replacing the dash speakers based on the audio mod thread on the forum (~$50). Looking into sliders and skids, but before those projects def. need to get some tires, maybe a second set of rims for them. I'm looking at the KO2, but have been reading alot about the wildpeaks, the toyos, and the other usual candidates. What are the details on your new 4runner?

Very cool pics, and love that lunar rock color with the snow!
 
I ordered the same one in Canada in mid December. Still no word from the dealer when it will arrive. They don't see it in their allocation yet. I'm assuming I will get one eventually...
 
I love that color! My hubs picked up a 22 Tacoma in this color and it is gorgeous. Not sure if I should go with that for my ORP or the army green. Decisions, decisions
 
Know exactly how you feel. Waited three months for the 2022 ORP I ordered to arrive at the dealer. This is my second 5th Gen 4Runner and like yours it's in Lunar Rock except with the moonroof. I added Cali Raised rock sliders.
