New owner in Virginia

Hello, new owner here (new to owning a 4Runner in addition to owning a new 4Runner - 2013 model TE.)

I've always wanted a 4Runner and now I've got one! I wanted it as a photography platform; to both get me to the locations as well as serve literally as a platform when the need arises.

You'd be guessing wrong, but I did LOOK at McGeorge. I bought from Mechanicsville Toyota.

reason i said mcgeorge is because they are where most of the trail editions come from that are around town.

Well, no one had a TE in the area. Both dealerships could get one within a day, by buying one from Checkered Flag in Va Beach, but Mechanicsville offered a better deal.

Eventually I have plans for a roof platform I can photograph from and I do plan to be able to sleep in the back, so that's where most of my mods will be focused.

I've thought about one of those, but the appeal for me is to be instantly ready to shoot. Wake up, put your boots on and go. I imagine one should worry about dew and mildew on a RTT if its packed wet. But, I could be wrong! Tell me I'm wrong, please!

You can pack them wet but Ive always tried not to. If you do pack them wet just make sure to open them up as soon as you can to dry them out. I'm on my 4th RTT and have never had a problem.

Just got my first 4Runner up here in Alexandria, VA. First thing I did as soon as I got it home was put my VCU Ram Athletic Fund decal on there. Had to show my support to my alma mater! You'll be seeing a lot more of our 2013 Silver SR5 (premium pkg) on the streets of the fan as soon as basketball season comes around. I make the god-awful trip down 95 for every home game. See yall around the good ole commonwealth.
