Just picked up a pretty clean '03 Limited V8 with 115k on the clock this past weekend. It's replacing a S10 ext cab as our adventuring vehicle. Not having 4wd was definitely starting to be a limiting factor and our Impreza wagon just doesn't carry quite enough stuff.

Looking forward to building this out a bit...

Nice! Congrats and welcome!. That's around 7700 miles a year - probably looks new inside and out. I would give the timing belt a look-see unless you know it was replaced recently.

Already done, it has a pretty good service history with the dealer.

New to Forum - Just bought '09 Sport 4WD

I'm a long term 4Runner fan - more a fan of the 4th generation that 5th (this is the 3rd 4th generation I've owned). Had been looking for that rare 4th generation find. New Year's Even I found a '09 4Runner Sport V6 4WD, Silver, only 17,700 miles (WOW!) Almost mint condition! Thankful to the little ole' lady (original owner) who took such great care of it. As a result, I've got a '08 4Runner Sport I need to sell - V6 2WD Black/Black, debadged, new tires at 138k, no mods; asking 12k. Houston, Texas.
