New pictures of my 19 Limited 4Runner with Adams Ceramic protection on it

As promised, a few pictures of my 4Runner after I ceramic coated it with Adams Polishes Ceramic UV kit after I did a two stage on the paint. Been a while since I detailed myself and it came out great.

No need to pay those dealers $600-$2500 to do it for you. You can do it for under a few hundred yourself if you know detailing some. I did a two step compound and polish to get all the swirls and scratches out, then the ceramic. Adams makes it easy for the user to do it. It is still a 5 year ceramic I linked below.

I didn't do it all at once since I spread it across 3-4 days with my back issues. I could have had it done in one day then the 24 hour cure time and final boost coat the next day.

Looks good! I'll have to check it out, I've been lazy and using meguires spray on ceramic.

Yes, did two step Adams compound and polish on it before doing the ceramic and boost. I had a old porter cable polisher and just bought from them new pads with the kit. Later I bought their polisher still in the box after my 13 year old one pretty much was dying on me doing the 4Runner. Adams makes it easy to do it yourself. Lots of videos on YouTube.

the good ol porter cable 7424 NON XP version?!?!? me too! takes forever and a day with this machine but it still works! Waiting for spring to roll aroudn and upgrade to a Griot G9

Haha, thanks. It's actually called Habanero Orange but it only looks orange at night or if it's cloudy out, otherwise it just looks like a really rich red like in that pic. I used the "improved" CSC that just came out a few months ago, I don't have the patience to do an entire car with the regular coating :nono:

Yep, exactly that one. It’s held up for many years and many cars. I got the Adams Pro red one. Forget what it’s called off hand. Can’t wait to give it a try.
