The rack sells for $1895 + taxes, shipping and handling (still working on how to ship it. However, You are not that far, from AZ, I could meet you in the border (4 corners or something like that. I'll charge you gas but it will be cheaper than shipping. Anyway, just an idea, you can always take a trip and come to AZ to get it.

Oh wow.. Count me out then. Was hoping it'd be comparable in price to a Prinsu, not more than a Gobi.

Our rack is one whole piece of metal. nothing to put together (like a puzzle) and it comes also with the sunroof insert that it's also a cargo basket for your hitch. It comes with a wind deflector (not shown on videos or pictures yet) and won't get lose. it's powder coated and make it to last.

I know that you guys are trying to make a great product and have put time and energy into this design. However, a couple of things...

1. you are jumping into a market that if fraught with legal battles from other major mfg's, be careful and tread lightly... others have lost their businees over roof racks...
2. A Gobi rack is the top dollar rack and equipped similarly to yours still isnt that expensive. You will make more in the long run if you lower your price to be competive with the other options out there. and yes I know how much time, blood, sweat and tears went into the design. you can recover the costs of initial design eventually.
3. maybe provide options to give a better strata of prices so people who cant afford the taj mahal can get a nice condo...

Just a few thoughts. I do really like the looks of the rack and hope that you get some orders! Keep up the good work and keep on fabbin!

I was excited to see this... but its way too expensive! It makes Gobi's racks seem cheap. Plus its 120 lbs. That's atleast 20+ lbs more than the gobi racks. and 20lbs less stuff I can put up there.

Also why are there 4 threads for this rack? Can the mods combine them to one thread and make it easier for everyone?

I appreciate any new companies trying to enlarge the market for our 4th gens but the pricing on this unit is going to kill it. My prinsu trumps this in every way, looks, weight, attachment points, versatility and will hold as much weight as id be comfortable putting on the roof for less then half the price of this unit. Which includes powder coating, windscreen, and enough load bars to satisfy almost every customer. I wish you luck in your endeavours but if you don't lower your price substantially I fear you will not be in this market for very long.
