My first car, was a 1982 Toyota Tercel, drove it to almost 300 000 kms..
Then bought trucks off and on for the next 30 years... Got tired of paying through the nose for fuel. Bought a Rav 4 about a year ago, great little rig.. Love it for the economy...
Bought a 1989 Forerunner 2 dr, manual with teh 4 cyl engine...
Motor is strong , body is horrible...
Gonna be my next project vehicle, replacing fenders, body work, big bumpers, winch mount, roof basket, maybe a lift kit....
I will use it for my hunting adventures, not into bogging or rock crawling...
Looking for a few heads up pointers on potetnial problems that I may have with it... Have not had time to search all 4ooo pages of threads on this site...
BTW, I live in the East Kootenays of British Columbia, about 2 hours North of Kallispell Montana..
