Just purchased an 01 4runner sr5 55k miles,great ride just wondering if you guys have any maintenance suggestions.Also it does not have the big wheel flares or a roof rack I was just wondering if it was normal,also what kind of factory warranty did these typically come with.I was gonna bring it to Toyota to give it a run through next week.I am excited about the truck my first Toyota....Thanks in advance ...Steve

Great choice, my 2001 has around 61,000 miles on it. Lets see maintenance suggestions, at 60,000 miles you need a tune up, plugs, air filter, radiator fluid, flush transmission fluid, but you do not need to change the timing belt, that is a 90,000.
Roof rack and big wheel flairs are extra. It came standard with 6 speaker CD / cassette stereo, heated rear view mirrors, VSC, ABS brakes, power windows and door locks, remote door lock and rear window opener. A trailer hitch is also extra.
The rig came with a 36,000 mile warranty and a 60,000 miles power train warranty, so if your engine is going to blow it better blow pretty soon. :arrow:

click on service + maintenance. enter your vehicles info, find your current mileage and read the items up to your mileage.
look at whatever history you have on the vehicle, see whats been done. as long as the oil's been changed, any other neglected spots can be done now no problem.
