I just wanted to give a shout out and say hi to everyone. I've been lurking in these forums since I started considering a new vehicle maybe 8 months ago. I currently own a 2010 RAV4 V6 and love the thing, though there were times I wish it simply was "more" than it is, so I started looking around.
I tend to get a little OCD when it comes to research, and after looking at and test driving other makes and models over the months I finally put down a deposit for a new Magnetic Grey 2013 Trail with KDSS and Nav. Here in CT KDSS simply isn't an option, but going through all these threads, it simply is a must have, especially on my daily commute which has a lot of sharp curves at speed. It had to be custom ordered and sadly, the dealership is saying beginning of November. Can't wait! :hungry:
Have any of you made the switch from a RAV4? I know from my test drives the 4Runner feels heavier but still responsive, but it's hard to tell with only a couple miles how the difference really ends up.
