New Toy Project !!

So, I pulled the trigger and replaced my 2000 SR5 4Runner , had 230k miles and ended up Buying a 2001 SR5 Limited , 109k miles for 7800.00 included w/ a 5 year 100k PowerTrain Warranty !! This 4Runner is Flawless , absolutely zero Rust on it . Elderly peeps really keep there vehicles meticulously clean . So now waiting for my Fox 2.5 Coilovers Fronts and Fox 2.0 w/ Resivors Rear , . Will post Before and After pics up soon !!

How did you get a warranty on that?

Reason I am curious is that I bought my 02 as "toyota certified 7 year/100,000 mile warranty"
with 94,000 miles on it. They ended up saying that the warranty ended Jan 07, 4 months after I bought it. Tranny went out in Feb 07 and I found out I wasn't covered under the warranty. Took 4 months to clear it up with the dealership and Toyota directly. They ended up giving me my money back on the warranty and I ended up paying about half for the "new" transmission...

Anyways... I am VERY leery of warranties now...

I am very aware of the Warranty provider they gave me . I use to be the Sales Manager at a Neighboring Dealership for 6 years . Due to my relationships w/ the current Managers and Finance director , they just through it in . The Dealership made $12.00 on the overall Deal . lol .
