Just noticed this addition to the Toyota.ca website. Looks like a new and improved "long range" Toyota engine starter? Also found a youtube video.

Any thoughts?

It would be nice if this upgrade includes the engine not shutting off when the door is opened, but it doesn't seem to specify in the link.

Frankly even if they do fix that glaring issue, it's still appears to be a basic two-way starter with decent range that costs double that of a comparable aftermarket option.

most aftermarket have longer distance for about 1/2 the price.

hell I can get a drone mobile installed for less than half the cost of that price.

now if it was the lexus RES+ system I might bite.
