I wasn't trying to knock Bridgestones as a brand, I have nothing against them, but appeared to be something wrong with this particular set. The tech said they had a problem with a few and it was probably a bad batch (which bridgestone confirmed that had a small problem with a batch) or a problem with that particular tire and suspension combination. The Bridgestones that came on the car performed just fine for the 3800 miles I had them and I would have been fine with the dealer putting on another set but it was their (Toyota's) choice to switch brands. I'm just glad the vibration is gone.

That's awesome you got the Urban Runner, I looked at the Pearl White & silver ones but had to go with the black..!

Black is a sweet color, no doubt. But living here in Florida (which I hate, by the way) I had to go with something cooler. Black would have just killed me in the summer...which, in this state, runs from April to October.

Are you on the new set yet and how are they feeling?

Yep, the 2 new tires were installed on Tuesday and problem solved. This beautiful truck rides as smooth as glass.

By the way...these Michelins are the quietest, most comfortable tire I've ever had. I know I've posted in the past about the Silent Armors and the Cross Contacts, but these Cross Terrains - WOW. Maybe the Urban Runner has better sound insulation, I don't know, but these tires are silent. Amazing.

Oh and as far as the color - I can't seem to get the pics I want with my camera. I've tried and tried to get closeups of the paint. The color is just fantastic - much like the shadow mica, the blizzard pearl is metallic and has bits of other colors in it, some glimmers of red and green and blue on closeups. It really has to be seen to be appreciated.

I will keep trying. I really want to post these pics.
