New Wheels- Method Racing MR301 (The Standard)

Hey guys- just some quick picks of my Method Racing MR301 wheels I just got installed. Rubber is BFG M/T.

They are 16x8 and I love how the tires stick out a little further than on the stock rims. They fill out the wheel well much better.

I used black locking pro comp lug nuts.

I am having a hard time finding the weight of the wheels but they feel lighter than the stock rims. Truck has a bit better pick up from a stand still (although, I could be dreaming).

i usually very picky about aftermarket wheels but these are cool! i like the fake bead lock abd how it still has a deep dish feel. how much did they run you?

i actually hate these wheels...only for the fact i find them trendy...In the race/prerunner scene everyone has them...so i find them faddish..but your runner looks great..and i asume your not a BJ baldwin fan...
if so then i dont like the wheels haha j/k

I like them as well. As common as it is, I've always liked the look of white vehicles with black wheels (within reason). :thumb3:

Love the new wheels. The KM2's really make them pop.
Are they Hub centric?
I have a set of after market rims (unsure of brand) that are not Hub centric I am hesitant to have tires mounted on them as I have heard of balancing issues, just wondering if you have experienced any balancing issues?

Yeah, I had a hard time deciding between polished or black.

I was initially of the opinion that black was just too trendy but I find polished to look too 'city' for a lifted T4R with proper tires.

Once I decided to go black, I figured I needed the black lugs to really finish the deep black look and I like the fake beadlock because it matches the chrome accents on the truck.

They were $150/each from 4wheelparts but I got killed on shipping/taxes by the time I got them into Canada.......but that's the story of my life.

one bright side about it- at least it will hopefully have a higher resale value/demand in canada because of popularity + higher cost/fees.
