Newbie to 4runners noise question.

Guys, I have had my 1995 4runner for about 2 months now, and have a question about a noise from the front-end. When the steering is at, or near full lock, and I go over a bump, there is a kind of crunch noise, but never when it is less than full turn. What is this? CV joint? I would think they would be noisy all the time if it is....? Hoping somebody here has a clue of this noise, and severity, if any. I am enjoying this rig, and am getting her dialed in to be a winter driver. -------Metalguy

Most likely its your turn stops. They have a plastic cap on them that wear through. You can either replace the cap or just grease them every month or so.
