Pretty sure this is the next gen Taco in EV form. Looks a lot like a tundra style added to current Taco. Nothing groundbreaking. But IMO it does look pretty nice.
Only things I see of note:
Light bars in the grill/bumper.
No Tow Hooks up front (like the tundra)
Air intake in the fender flare - turbo cooling? Intake? Just styling?
Wide body styling - look carefully at those rear fenders. Are people still going to go wide body on top of wide body like they do on the 4Runners? I think it looks odd to go wide fender on top of OEM wide fenders, but I'm not really sure how you do something different to get more tire coverage if you can't fit the tires in the OEM fenders. I think the super wide bronco setups doing this I see look pretty silly. It's basically getting to be bro-truck level to see who can out widebody the next guy.
Also - based on wide fenders and high ride height, I'd guess this is the TRD Pro version of the 4th gen taco.
Tires stay smallish.
I do like the hood how it is low in the center for visibility. The LC200 is that way and it really helps forward visibility.
Rear view cameras replace mirrors.
Overall - looks production ready to me. More than just a concept. Almost has to be the next taco. And there's a CUV styled like an FJ Cruiser behind it. I cried a little for how diluted the FJ is likely to be after see that. Might as well call it the Toyota FJ Cruiser sport.
