Well there was this one night...things got weird...:shrug:

We went wheeling last spring at Hollister. You had something to do that day, but me, mike and 4runit all went. He was riding stock then, but now is lifted and apparently getting an ARB. I guess he didn't have to hand over his balls and rights when he got married. :banana:

I keep hearing everyone talk about warn and I know there is a ton of hype and loyalty to brands. I'm certainly not going with anything from Harbor Freight but have been comparing the Smittybuilt, Warn, and Milemarkers.

sh!tty built(smittly build is just a cheep 4wp winch, basically a harbor freight unit with a "name brand" that is just riding on the name). its very hit an miss with SB, a couple of guys i know have had nothing but issues with them, one was dead right out of the box and wouldnt work when he needed it the first time he got stuck. and another guy has the gear drive train explode on him in the middle of a pull(it was an 8000LB pulling a jeep wrangler over some rocks, no way it was even close to 6000lb of force) and some guys i know havent had one issue with them. but i have two 2 warns and they are by far superior, faster, stronger, better built, more rugged ect than anything else ive seen. and their customer support is by far the best in the business, ive broke my case(hit a rock with the winch -my fualt 100%) and they replaced it for free no questions asked! -brand loyalty you say? heck yes after that, and i will try and give them as much business as i can because of it
