Northern California T4R fall trail run.

Hello folks,

I hope this is the right section. If not feel free to move to correct one.

As you know we are obsessed with our 4runners and I am luckily enough to live near lots of great trails. It would be nice to meet up with local addicts and hit some of the local terrain. The trails that I am looking at are:

Nigara Rim located in the Stanislas Forest, 4x4TrailMaps - Niagara Rim

Slickrock Trail which is right next to beautiful Alpine Lake 4x4TrailMaps - Slick Rock Road

Corral Hollow which is a very easy trail. 4x4TrailMaps - Corral Hollow Trail

I am a novice and have no experience with any of these trails with the exception of Niagra Rim.

I am always looking to hit the trails with locals and do meetups. However Oct is a busy month for me and not sure I can make this one. But keep an eye out and or keep posting for trips as I would be up for one sooner or later. I'm in Walnut Creek so you are in the next town over!

I'm interested. I was looking at a few trails in Stanislaus National Forest -Clavey Lake being one of them. Just put new tires on and lifting it tomorrow. So would love to go out and give it some exercise. I'm good most weekends from Thursday afternoon to Saturday night. I'm east bay Alameda/San Leandro area. Have a few Taco and And FJ friend at work that would be down too.

I'm located in Concord and just picked up a 2001 4runner sport. Its stock but I would really like to get it on an easy trail just to learn what I'm doing. I have never owned a 4wheel drive vehicle before.

I'm around in two weeks for a Thursday to Saturday trip. The following weekend I'm going to head to Pismo Jamboree for camping and wheeling on the beach if anyone wants to go. After that Thursday to Saturday the first two weeks in October and Thursday to Sunday the 23-26 October. Can also do a cars and coffee meet up most weekends if we just want to get together and hang out and chat and come up with ideas. I'm always down for that. Did one in the PDX area New Year's Eve day and it was a good time. Let me know I'm open if you have ideas of dates

Just got back from the Shaver Lake area and there are some great trails out there. Not a bad drive from the Bay Area. You can always head up to the Tahoe area too. Tons of good trails up there.
