This may be a dumb question but what level of expertise would one need for this kit? I maybe have 10 hours of welding experience and basic at that.

I think it looks good, but i think it would look a little better if the face face plate wasn't so tall. You could have the winch lead opening on the slanted part under the face plate instead of the face plate, giving it a cleaner look, like the Demello bumpers.

Thanks for the interest in our new 4th gen winch bumper kit!
The bumper weighs around 118 lbs without a winch,
the logo delete option a $15 charge.

Assembly is very staright forward all strcutural pieces are keyed and slotted, there is no cutting or measuring involved.
Instructions with example pictures are included.
We just got the bumper finished and powdercoated 3 days ago, we also lifted our 07' 4Runner 3", we have had a alot of positive feed back locally and have begun selling this kit. (this kit is NOT on our website yet, contact me directly to place an order) Here are a few recent pics.
We still need to get our lights and the winch.

I got a shipping quote of $130 to Atlanta, for reference.
I got a local guy who is going to assemble for $200 and P.C. for another $150-200.
This brings my current total (sans G.B. to $460kit+130ship+200assembly+200p.c.=$990).

How much work are we talking? At that base price, I'm not opposed to working with the shop, NWTI, and having them just do the work, if they can. How much would it cost to get the kit, plus bar, plus foglight cut outs, plus welded together and mounted? Nitrag, are you estimating that kind of work at $200? And the $380 base price is just bare metal? So, nitrag, you're estimating $200 for powdercoating? If that's all the case, for me, since I'm local, it'd be more like $860. Does that sound about right?

A local fab shop quoted me $200 to put it together and install on truck. They also said about $150-200 to p.c. which I believe is about right.

you wouldn't see much reduction as the skin is light enough anyway.
I cut my own holes for dual rigid lights. not that hard and I could pick where they went. my buddy got the round holes and put his rigid pair in the round hole and it looks great as well.

I have built 3 of these bumpers and each one was a little different from the other. One Tacoma, one 4th gen 4runner with only center hoop (mine) and another 4th gen, but with headlight guards. all were very simple to assemble and the kit aspect allows you to customize here and there. I didnt like how far out it stuck from my flares, so I trimmed it while I fabbed it up.

I want to say that the holes are 4" diameter...

I bought LEDs from Superbright and run them in holes I drilled. I love them, kind of a Raptor running light look and mean.

I would avoid any kits NWTi has. NWTi rear bumper kits have poorly cut pieces that do not align well and the "instructions" provided are some half ass pictures taken with little to no information for pieces.
