i will say that from the people i have talked to that have had experiance with him and know him he has been making a good effort to work with guys and improve the product as he can. i dont want to make it sound like im bashing him or his product ect, cause im not. i tried emailing him a few times a couple years ago when he just came out and started up the business and im sure the stress of starting a business and the time and energy it takes to stay above ground ect was playing into this, but i just didnt feel "comfortable" with buying from him... some of my emails when unanswered and a couple of the questions i asked got some vege answers -but i can see why, not wanting to risk letting "trade/product secrets out"... i have yet to see one of these weld together kits in person and up close so ill will reserve my comments publicly on this matter until i do so. also it should be noted that with any DIY kit, the final product will greatly depend on the quality of work done by the person and their skill level doing the assembly, so remember to take that into account. i know i have been less than enthusiastic in recommending people to NTI, but i always hate giving recommendations especially if i have no personal experience that i can go off of. so to be fare im not trying to bash NTI or say dont do business with them, cause i have no reason to say that. i just would feel bad if i had recommended them and "you" did not have a good experience. and for those of you who have asked me about them a while back ie 2 or so years ago(im not sure really if its been that long or longer) but yeah at that time i was not impressed with what i experienced. but as time goes on you have to be doing something right to stay in business(especially these days in this market), and i continue to see more and more of their bumpers on the road, and honestly i have not heard anyone complaining, so take that for what its worth.
if you are on a budget and can do the fab/welding work yourself or can have a friend do it for a case or two of brews id say go for it. you can always modify it while assembling it to suit your needs or desires, but the main platform is there for you to go off of. in the end for me a big factor to me to go with ARB was the air bag compatibility and retaining crumple-zones. being in SAR and working for a sheriffs office that is a huge thing when it comes to insurance and liability.
