Just got back from a wedding/vacation in Anna Marie Island, FL. One of the nicer beaches I've been to.
While I was gone, I had the timing belt parts put on. One of our trusted mechanics that's done mechanical work for us and Ferrari service, did the job and an oil change for 325$ worth of labor. A killer deal if you ask me and he works too cheap haha.
Also installed the OPT7 LED's that I bought. These are well work the 80$ and will tide me over until I decide to do a retrofit.

Still making the tough decision on which SCS SR8 wheels to go with. Bouncing back and forth between matte black or gunmetal. Anyone want to do a quick PhotoShop for me? Once I decide, those will be ordered this week, along with tires.

Just so you're aware, the belt in your picture *is* the OEM. Read it again, it doesn't say Mitsubishi. Reading mistake that happens often, at least it did to me before someone corrected me.

Never heard that before. I did remove the belt when I first got it, and it does in fact say Mitsubishi on it.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought the matte black SR8 wheels. So excited to finally get started on the aesthetics.
Still doing some research on what tires I want to get. I daily drive it, so i want something that's fairly quiet, all terrain, wear evenly (with rotations), and will last a good amount.

Goodies arrived today. Can't thank Vin at SCS for the numerous questions I had and the quick service. Top notch company.

Does anyone think I'll run into UCA and tire clearance issues? Wheels are 16x8 4" backspace and running 285/75's

Tires being mounted tomorrow. Just ordered extended bilstein shocks and superflex coils, along with a diff drop.
Still worried about the tires rubbing on the factory UCA. Anyone confirm that they wont rub??

Got the tires mounted. Good lord is this some meat. Perfect choice for the wheel and tire combo.

Front is Toytec coilovers. I think I'll be ok with factory UCA's and the 285's. That's my final worry

I'm running 285's on a 16x8 with 4.5 backspacing, and I have a good amount of clearance to the UCA. You should be more than fine with less backspacing (wheels sticking further out).

Should be installing the lift next weekend. Rear setup should be here mid week.

Your truck looks great! Did you get 6000k or 5000k bulbs?
