So one of our shops owners is a gear head but loves VW's and old Land Rovers. We just finished the base work on his jetta pickup conversion. It's going in for final body and paint work soon. But here's some pics.

Is that all one-off fabbed or a kit?

And how does it feel when you take out so much of the vehicle's unit body structural elements? Is it floppy?
 
That looks like the rear end from a Ford Sporttrac Explorer, yeah? Interesting build. Reminds me of a Ford Escort pickup conversion I saw the other day, except your's looks like it was actually done correctly.

The tailgate is from a ranger and the tail lights a cobalt I believe lol
