I would say yes Toyota still has it, the link you posted said it was on permanent display in the Toyota USA Museum in Torrance Ca., and for anyone familar with the museum knows it was closed last year since Toyota moved it's USA headquarters to Plano Tx. where they have built another public "Experience Center" where they will still have a few vehicles on a rotational display, the vehicles not on display will be stored until going to be displayed.
That being said the link below is a Hemming Daily article last fall about the new Experience Center, they stated at the end of the article that....."Banks was quick to praise the work done by Susan Sanborn, curator and director of the current Toyota USA Museum, in building Toyota USA’s roughly 140-car collection. While the Torrance museum will close its doors on September 28, the majority of vehicles won’t be moved to Texas until the summer of 2018. None will be sold."

So they should have most if not all the vehicles from the old museum moved to Texas by now or soon.
