Novice 4runner Purchase Advice 2007 Limited

Looking at what i think is a great deal. Hope to get some feedback.
I am looking at a 2007 Limited 4wd 4 runner 1 adult owner. It has 147,000 basically all hwy miles. Rig resided in Oregon and has not seen much weather as far as snow or super hot summer. I can get it for 14,500.00 With all the service records routine maint that has been done i feel this is a fair price? Any thoughts input would be greatly appreciated.

That is a steal. and If you want to pass on it please let me know where it is. I would buy that for that price!

I have been looking countrywide for that vehicle and am looking at buying a 2005 sr5 for that price (not with as many miles though.)

The good thing about oregon is that they use de-icer instead of salt so even if it has seen a little snow there will not be the typical rust that you see in other parts of the country.

I was thinking that too, however it does have the following. All new Toyo tires, New brakes, Timing belt and water pump were done at 60 and 120. Not a door ding or scratch on the exterior paint.
 
the v8 a an amazing engine but it has been known for cracks in the headers i believe but with any engine there are always problems just take a look at them and if nothing you should be good and make sure the timing belt was replaced which it sounds like it was it all the service records are in order
 
The 4.7L is Toyota´s longest running and strongest running larger motors. It is a great engine, and the 05+ has more power yet not sacrificing the gas mileage.

Although the V6 does get better gas mileage and does have the timing chain instead of belt.

There is always benefits to each engine.
 
Thanks for all the info i posted a few more pictures going to try to get him down a little more but all in all i know the history and maint of the vehicle which is worth something. Also found out this morning that it has lifetime dealer oil changes he bought when he bought the rig new :-)

Just make sure that it wasn't just for the original owners. The lifetime oil changes usually don't transfer person to person.
 
The Pacific Northwest does seem to be high on these rigs, The fact i its a 1 owner and i know the history and its clean makes it worth it i think :-) but that is why i asked for some expert opinions.... Was more concerned on the miles a little but i think that like everybody says its a Yota miles if it is serviced correctly.
 
I bought mine with 100k on it from a one owner. Always nice to be able to look the man in the eye that drove it before you. Paid $14.5k for it but it's a 2004 Sport. Always a trade off eh?

Some of the rubber bits and pieces might start to get worn out around 159k miles, but then again they haven't been exposed to the elements as long.

Just curious, are you buying it from a dealership or an individual? I've seen CarFax call cars/trucks a one owner but if you read it closely you can see it was bought sold a few times. So read carefully if at a dealership.
