I have no idea how those cars are configured but maybe they are cooling fans?:shrug:

Or more likely propulsion fans. It was going pretty slow on the freeway.

If that Smart is Hayabusa powered, that's cool but it still looks has to look like a Hot Wheel on steroids?

Come to think of it, that's the second wacky lookin' Smart I have seen on that stretch of freeway in about a month. Maybe there is some cool, Smart mod shop down in Irvine or some sort of Smart car scene I am clueless about. :yuck:
