Odd Issue with Bluetooth (2011 SR5)

So this morning I wake up to get into my 4runner and attempt to connect my phone to the blue tooth, and 2 really odd things have happened.
1st.. Radio forgot my connected phones. weird right?? so I go through the pairing process, only to discover

2nd: I can connect a BT audio but not a phone.. There is no phone connect option on my radio any more..

so I go to setup.. you have phone setup/blue tooth audio setup--I have no phone setup option in my receiver anymore..

Anyone have any idea how to fix this??? Can I somehow reset the radio to factory setup??
I tried disconnecting the battery, but that just reset the clock.

Bottom line for TLDR: My radio no longer has a phone Setup option, and I can't connect my phone as a phone.
It will let me connect as audio player but I can't make or receive phone calls over bluetooth.
Thanks!

Disconnect the battery then wait 5 minutes to reset the radio unit. If you don't see the BT option in the phone setup then most likely your BT module went bad. I had this issue on my Accord and BT worked fine after replacing the BT module. Give the battery disconnect a try before moving to an expensive solution. I don't know if the 4Runner has a separate BT module or integrated into the radio head unit.

It's odd though because the Bluetooth connects to my phone as an Audio Player but refuses to set up a phone. it's like that menu option is gone.
Menu typically goes..
setup--> phone setup--> select phone pair phone etc.. then to Audio setup

But now I have setup--> Audio setup.. No phone setup.
