I almost went with Fuel. But the models that I liked didnt come in a 17x8. I didnt want to get too wide since I was going with 255/80's. As it turned out, I am happy with the choice. They also seem like they will be easier to keep clean with the Teflon coating.

You need to have a competent installer. Had some issues at first. They set something so I actually had to "unlock" the vehicle first to use the "start" or the alarm would go off. Took it back and they have it set to the "lock" now. So I press the lock for 2 seconds, then the start for 2 seconds, and it starts without setting off the alarm.

Badass! I was looking at one very similar at Scheels last time I was in Minot. The mrs. was giving me the stink eye so I didn't go for it though. Ended up just getting so ammo and some other stuff for the guns I have.


On another note, how do you like the ST Maxx so far? Any issues in the snow and ice?

I love them. No issues. I went with 255/80/17, so they are very tall and skinny (pizza cutters). That helps in deep snow to get down to hard ground. Ice has not been a problem either.

There is a new gun store in Minot called Spartan Firearms. That is where I bought it. Better prices, and the guys there are awesome. It is more of a tactical store than a hunting store.
