Ok, Im in love with my 4th gen 4 runner. I test drove the new ones and while they are nice i still like mine. In order for me not to get car fever i want to install some more modern amenities. Currently it has the stock non JBL six speaker system. I want to keep it looking completely stock. I have read post on installing OEM navigation systems and began running into dead ends. From what i see the E7019 ''Camry" is my best option because it has the orange back lights. From the post I've read its plug and play. Does that mean i just take mine out plug this one in and I'm done? Every E7019 I see on Ebay has an AM/SAT button. Does this unit also have SAT radio? I would like to have NAV and SAT in my install. If so what does it take to make everything work? OEMvalue.com seemed to be a good resource for this but they have gone out of business. Can anyone tell me exactly what i need to do/purchase to make this happen. Thanks!

PMed ya, but I'll respond here to make the thread relevant.

If no JBL, then yes, the E7019 seems to be the best bet for you in that it has all the latest features AND lights up orange. I had to send my NAV out and have it re-LEDed. Urgh. Anyway, it should be plug and play (audio).

You still need to splice into VSS, Reverse Light signal and Parking brake signal. Those are easy to do. GPS antenna: YES, you need to get one, a Toyota one. Ebay has plenty of them. As far as SAT, well, at least for the E7009, it's a separate unit, but plugs right in if you have it. Not 100% sure on this, but I'll look it up and post.

OEMvalue is long gone, but I think the owner still sells NAV units on ebay. The website is still good for installation information. Toyota NAV install information OEMValue. Copy/print that page before it disappears.

Hope this helps! :yo:
