I bought a cheapie off amazon for $30. I think the brand is AVS. So far it has held up well.
A couple points though: it does not extend to the side of the fender, it only protects the width of the hood. Also, the mounting hardware is plastic and seemed a bit loose so I wrapped some plumbers take around the screws before I screwed them into the holes under the hood.
Overall, I'm satisfied for $30. Pic in my build thread

There are 2 types of AVS ones I believe. One that only covers the hood and one that extends to cover the edges of the fenders as well. I have the second one and love it. I think 3rd gen's look better with them, and they help prevent rock chips on the glass and paint, as well as bugs. You can see it alters the way the air flows to when it's wet out and if you have a good coat of wax on the truck the water on the hood will sit there for a lot longer than without it while driving.

Mine had one on it when I bought it, and it was causing back of the hood by the windshield to flap around like crazy at highway speeds. The first time I noticed it I thought something was loose and the hood was going to come off, but it was just wind buffeting. I took it off and it completely went away. I'm not sure what brand it was, but it looked just like the ones posted here, nothing crazy. Anyone else experience this?

Doesn't that one have rubber gumdrops that attach to the paint?

Oh, I thought the OEM one came with the gumdrop things! Guess I was wrong. The issues with those is, they will mar through the paint overtime.
