OEM skid plate help

Can anyone help me out on this? Ive been trying to find the front half of the stock sheet metal skid plate for my 05 V8 4runner. I have the trans/transfer case half on the truck currently as it is all that was on the truck when I bought it. My budget is very low for it at this time of year, otherwise I'd go for an aftermarket setup.

I am unable to find one anywhere near me in ny, nj, or ct. I've found them across the country but no-one will ship it to me.

The colder weather and snow is coming and I don't want to have to worry about ice chunks and other debris being able to get up into the belt area of my engine bay...

Does anyone have one I could get from them or is there someone who would be willing to ship theirs if they've replaced it with something tougher?

You're probably going to have a hell of a time finding used ones.

I went through 3 stock gravel shields before I went full metal skid plates.

One I was lucky a member had it lying around, the other I spent weeks on craigslist before I found someone selling off a bunch of parts.

If you stick around here long enough, someone will eventually upgrade to beefier skids and will want to sell.

If it were me I would just order aftermarket and be done with it.

Pay if forward!

I have a stock set. Pay for shipping and its yours.

I live in San Diego and it doesn't snow here so, I'm not worried...plus I'm making my own set ;P

I have the front one as well, yours for the cost of shipping from 98037 +$5. No bolts.

Was back east, so a little bit of rust (nothing excessive), would benefit from being cleaned/painted

I'm definitely interested in the front. I'll send a PM to work out the details.

Anybody else have one laying around? I’ve been looking and came across this old post in my search. Help!

I’m interested as well! Living in the northeast, it seems like salt destroys all of them on our trucks, so if any of you guys in more temperate climates are upgrading to heavier plates, I’d love to have a stock set in decent shape! I don’t really do any heavy off-road stuff, so I don’t really need heavy armor. If I go aftermarket, I’d probably get some RCI aluminum ones or something, but they are really expensive for the way I use my truck.
