Off Road Upgrade Package

Thought I'd share an interesting regional package that I just learned of. Toyota is now offering (in at least the Texas market but not in the California market) an "off road upgrade" package on TRD vehicles, which includes

• TRD Pro wheels
• Nitto Grapplers
• Black rock rails and steps (Nfab?)
• Black exhaust tip
• Black out badging
• Black roof rails
• Floor liners and cargo mat

At $3765 it's not exactly a good deal but I'd like to get the P/Ns of some of the black out trim.

Here in GA dealers are selling a ton of SR5's with TRD Pro wheels, grill, and blacked out badges. There are so many rolling around that I have zero desire for the TRD Pro grill anymore.


... well maybe a small part of me still wants one. But I do think it looks odd, SR5 with Pro grill and no valence. just my .2

Yup. I think this is Toyota's way of acknowledging the demand for the Pro look without actually increasing production. Don't even get the Pro grill for the money.

Id be interested in the simple no frills Rock Rails with no steps (especially if aluminum) and the Black exhaust tip.

If you want real rock rails, these are not them and no dealer option will be as good as aftermarket. FJCs had available Toyota rock rails and they were way weaker than aftermarket ones I think. Just get a set of any of the numerous brands out there now.

For less than that I got SSO bumper, 10,000# Smittybilt winch with syn., 3" Toytec Ultimate lift, running boards, and blacked out badging. All installed except the badging which I ordered and did myself.

I think its the new 2018 XP package, maybe. Better than the older XP with 20s and billet grille.

• Black roof rails - $60 wrapped
• Floor liners and cargo mat - $270 Weathertech Digitals

At $3765 it's not exactly a good deal but I'd like to get the P/Ns of some of the black out trim.

$2,445 for all that is listed and that's not even trying to look for the best price online. You got a spare $1,320 you can use toward a full suspension upgrade.
