Off roading in Alabama/Georgia

Hey guys I've been searching around and haven't found a forum on a subject like this. I live near Auburn Al and I am searching for new trials and other off roading places to take my 3rd gen. I go to the Tuskegee national forest often which is only 10 min out of Auburn, but I want something that will actually give me a little challenge. Does anyone know any good spots near Auburn or places an hour away or so that are worth the drive in AL or GA?

A friend of mine takes his jeep to an off-road park called The Great American Park that is just south of Auburn.

He also mentioned another place.....Take hwy 14 west from Auburn, turn right after the syrup sopping barn in Loachapoka, then after the second bridge turn left. There is a dirt road that turns into a trail.

I've never been to either so I can't tell you exactly what to expect, but I asked him since he still lives there...

Pretty sure GAP is closed. Never went, but website isn't live anymore and I recall a "Going out of business" ride last year.

Your best bet for real trails is to head up to ChoccoLocco Mtn (Jacksonville, AL) or Morris Mtn (Delta, AL). I ride with GA Trail Riders and we have a monthly ride...we ride in AL, GA, TN, SC, and KY. Nothing close to you that's a real trail that's legal.

The GAP is closed and the trail near Loachapoka sounds like it may be part of the Tuskegee forest but I'm not sure. Ill have to check it out
