In this case, by using either a solid black or solid white background. Another way would be to reduce the depth of field by opening up the aperture and generating more bokeh (blur in the background). Here's an example of bokeh.

Damn jmildot, those are some kick-ass pics! Smokin barrels are fun but ammo availabilty now a days will probably keep me from doing that any time soon. :moping:

I just ordered a pair of red dots from Primary Arms. I read a lot of good things about them and nothing bad, so here's to hoping my budget build works out! Now to convince myself to pull the trigger on my amazon order...

Anyone have any rear sights for sale? Fixed or flip

you can get magpul rear sights on amazon,

i picked up one of the cheaper ones on there a year or so ago while waiting on my YHM sight to come in i think it was about $20

Yeah they have the MBUS on sale right now for $40. That's the cheapest I've seen unless you are talking about the PTS (airsoft) version.
 
Still no uppers yet. :moping: I already added hogue hand grips and Magpul enhanced trigger guards to the lowers.

BTW, Gander has Bushmaster ARs in stock online right now for $850.

Also, the Kel-tec ran into a few snags at the range so until I can work that out and put a few hundred rounds through without issue, it'll be sitting in the safe.

That said... I ordered a S&W MP357C with hopes of it being my new concealed carry. I got a great deal on a LEO model that includes 3 mags.

In the meantime I guess I'll be stocking up on mags since I won't be able to buy more after July 1st. Damn Colorado hippies...

Thanks!:D Got a tracking number 2 hours after the order was placed so it's already on the UPS truck. I've also ordered from bulkammo, palmetto state, natchez and several others during this mayhem and their lead time was several weeks.

Same here.. I'm still waiting on an order from PSA that was placed 2 weeks ago. I ordered from Natchez, who's prices are great, but shipping is unrealistic to make up for it. I'm thinking about ordering some defense ammo from Double Tap.
 
I just scored a SD40VE with 2 extra factory mags (total of 4 mags) for $375 on gunbroker. :party:





And my wife's going to turn it on me. lol


ETA: A year ago this may have been an average deal, but I couldn't find one for less than $420 or so in the past few months, so that price plus the mags, which go for $35 or so, makes me happy with it.

I'd be all over that in a heart beat!:target:.....if not for a couple of issues where I live. Tracer rounds are illegal to posses in my state unless you're active law enforcement or military in the course and scope of your duties. Also there's the issue of fire danger. :( Good price for these times though, thanks for posting!:)
